Shout out and Sound off!

This is just a short post to ask those of you who might have found my blog, or been a reader in the past to give me a 'heads up' in the comments, if you so wish. I wonder who might still read this blog if it shows up in their feed after all this time?

Let me know who and where you might be, if you are comfortable with that. Also, include any questions or things you might want to know about me, my hiatus from writing, or what might interest you and I will try to get to the questions and ideas in the following posts.

I am a bit stumped on where to start and maybe some input from the minds and eyes that actually find this place might serve as a catalyst and writing prompt to get me back in the practice.

Thanks in advance and holler back!

  1. You will have to rebuild your readership by writing about subjects that interest and excite you (not them). If you can't do that, then there is no point to reviving the blog. It's that simple. R

  3. Hi, Daemon. You are still on my blog roll and I check you out as often as I can. I'd love to learn more about you, so please keep blogging. Like the previous commenter said, blog what you want to. It makes it more interesting.

  4. Suggestion. Tonight (Friday) or tomorrow (Saturday) sit down and just write about a happening this week - work, home, family, friends, film/tv/play, activity (walk/game). Write spontaneously (read daninokc). Do the same next weekend. R

  5. Welcome back - Write about what's made you pause and think recently. It can be current affairs or something personal, good news, sad news, whatever you'd like. I'll be reading!

  6. Just more shocked than anything to find IcarusAlways in the loop again. Glad, however. I read the Closet Professor on occasion to see where his life has taken him. And that's how I happened to notice you were blogging again. Tell us where you have been. What has transpired. Where you hope to go. I will subscribe to a feed again.
