This is an old, old song that my Dad used to play on the stereo at times when I know his life was getting hard and so many things weighed heavy on his heart and mind.
I play it here today as a prayer for him and for me.
This is best enjoyed at very high volume...like all the way up to 11!! :)
The exchange that you described with your dad in the previous post showed I think the depth of the hurt in his heart because of the things that happened to him growing up. Only he can describe what he was feeling at the time when he said those things to you. I can't comprehend how this must have affected you but I know you love him so much. I am praying as you get together again and talk that you will be able to show that love. He probably needs you more now than ever. This song is so passionate with the message that God will take you both through this time.
